Review : Beautiful, but vulnerable...
This case size, at 45-46mm wide depending on the info source, is as large as I go. Considering the size and substantial heft of the piece, it's a remarkably comfortable design to wear as a daily driver. In fact, I've found it so comfortable that I've since purchased four other models. Screw-down crown and buttons, 200m WR (I only snorkel), easy to read day or night and full chrono functions - this is a wonderful watch to own and wear.
Why three stars? The bezel plating, a very cool blue and a significant visual selling point, is such a weak link that the performance of the whole suffers. Not two weeks into owning it and there are notable scratches on it showing through silver already. Also, the first day I wore it, the inner bezel ring fell out! Now, having watched every episode ever of "How It's Made", I knew it was only glued on in the first place, so a little acetone and some superglue put that right in about two minutes, but still, I mean, c'mon now!
