To be clear, I purchased this in a "lightning deal" offer so I didn't pay Amazon's current asking price. I paid less than $55 for this watch and for that price it's been a satisfying purchase. IMHO, Stuhrling watch prices are hyped so that they can seem like excellent buys to the shopper. The watch's quality was not bad but I would never even think about paying the supposed full retail price for it. That said, I will add that it is an attractive watch (in a minimalist way) and keeps accurate time. Overall, I do think I got a great deal on this timepiece and would consider it if I was shopping for a dependable, sleek everyday watch, even at it's current price.
