Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.

Review : Great Watch, but No Screw-Down Crown
I received my Invicta 9307 diver's watch last week. It is every bit as nice "in person" as it appears in the photos. Good sized but not huge; solid but not too heavy. The whole watch seems very nicely made. I especially like the look and construction of the bracelet. Besides the regular folding apparatus that clamps the bracelet down, it has a fold-over safety clasp as well. After having a couple of links removed, it feels better on my wrist than other watches with similar bracelets I've had in the past. Although not expensive (I paid something like $81 for it from one of Amazon's vendors on Black Sunday), it looks and feels like a higher priced timepiece. It doesn't come across as a cheap watch trying to look like an expensive watch. One thing I should mention though: it does NOT have a screw-down crown, in spite of what some of the advertising implies.
