This watch is everything a man could want. It's oversized, heavy duty, and feels indestructible.
Originally I purchased the band sizing tool to size this - nope. 27mm is way too big, so that was a $5 trip to the watch repair shop. No big deal.
This watch doesn't have the more famous "Russian Diver" etching on the back like the cheaper, rubber banded ones do. It also lacks a lot of the glow in the dark material on the band - it's understated, compared to the 4342 I also own. The 4342 has enough glow in the dark to read by at night, and pretty much ruins night vision. I like this 7241, due to it's oversize matched with understatement on the face. I prefer steel bands as well - and this one I had to have four links taken out of, compared to the 4342 where I wear it on the very last hole of the band.
In short, this watch doesn't have to slap you in the face to make a statement, it garners lots of comments simply because it looks very classy and...
